WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY ABOUT DR. ANHLAN NGUYEN?

"Anhlan exemplifies leadership and the investment in people. In the many years we've partnered, I have personally seen her touch thousands of people around the world. That accomplishment alone is what few people can claim, yet she does this in the service of others. She has led with vision, heart and soul. Her vision to develop others really exemplifies what leadership means and she has mentored and sponsored many in her career! Equally important, she has the heart and the soul for all of this. These latter two elements synergize to propel those around her to succeed even further. She's a pleasure to work with and a great person to know."

"Dr. Nguyen is a friend and a coworker whom I respect highly. She has an eye for details and is very methodical /analytical in her approach to the execution of a project. Dr. Nguyen is highly respected by her colleagues at MD Anderson. Her enthusiastic, optimistic attitude is contagious and serves to motivate and energize her project staff and stakeholders. She is a natural leader who has the gift of identifying everyone's talents and bringing out the best in everyone. Dr. Nguyen possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. She showed and demonstrated an uncanny ability to foresee potential issues and obstacles. One of her best attributes is her ability to collaborate. She can bring opposing points-of-view into an agreement. She puts others above herself. Dr. Nguyen is truly a servant leader. Perhaps, the best quality that she possesses is her love to teach and help others. It is clearly shown through her active involvement with the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association. She works tirelessly to help young, aspiring Vietnamese students and professionals develop into leaders of tomorrow. I will be gladly to work with Dr. Nguyen again and any company who manages to retain her service is very lucky to have a dedicated, professional leader such as Dr. Anhlan Nguyen."

"From August 2014 to April 2016, Dr. Anhlan Nguyen served as the Board Chair of the Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF). During this period, VEF faced numerous challenges such as executive leadership transition and sequestration of VEF's annual budget. As the Board Chair, Anhlan provided the guidance, support, and stability to board members and staff to ensure that VEF continued its day-to-day operation and achieved its mission. Because of her leadership, VEF was able to hire a new Executive Director and had a smooth leadership transition. Furthermore, Anhlan is a passionate leader who worked tirelessly to empower everyone at VEF. For example, during her visit to Vietnam she took the time to provide professional development training to VEF staff members who worked in the Hanoi office. During the VEF Annual Conference, she developed a workshop for VEF fellows to learn about self-care and personal growth. In addition, Anhlan went beyond her call of duty to provide individual mentoring to our VEF fellows and alumni. For example, she met with several of VEF fellows and alumni on a monthly basis to coach them with their personal and professional goals. Overall, VEF is an effective organization because of Anhlan's tireless effort and important contribution."

"I really enjoyed your awesome workshop. I have been in childcare for 33 years. I have never been to a workshop like this. I believe that you will be very successful in spreading this concept to many schools and beyond. I really enjoyed your breathing technique/song. Gratefulness, Respect, Accountability, Courage and Engaging are 5 very crucial core values that are so very essential and should be taught to children and be applied to our personal lives. It was so refreshing to hear such beautiful core values being put into action in our personal lives and a classroom full of children who are yearning to learn so much. Thank you so much for a job well done. I can see that you really enjoy presenting your concept with an enthusiastic spirit. I believe that you will continue to shine your light ever so brightly for all to see."

"Yesterday I was so grateful to be invited by Cindy to hear a talk from Dr. Anhlan to learn about emotional intelligence at the Google campus. A couple of key things learned: 1) Everyday when you wake up, there’s 86,400 seconds in your time bank account, use it wisely 2) The unconscious mind can process unto 11 million pieces of information/sec, but the conscious mind can only process about 40 pieces/sec 3) Learn to filter out the noise and keep the essentials"
